If you play the Meghalaya lottery, the Singham Evening needs no introduction — but here is the complete picture. It runs every single day, giving players a fresh chance to win every 24 hours, with the draw conducted at 7:35 PM IST. Each ticket costs ₹10 and enters you into a prize pool headlined by a ₹0.5 Lakh first prize. The draw is operated under Meghalaya's lottery regulations, which means published results are legally binding and prizes are guaranteed by the state. The prize structure spans five tiers: while the jackpot grabs headlines, thousands of smaller prizes are awarded in every draw across the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th tiers, plus consolation prizes for tickets matching all but the series of the 1st prize number. Many players buy Singham Evening tickets weekly as a small entertainment expense — at ₹10 a ticket, the dream costs less than a cup of tea. Check back here after 7:35 PM IST for today's winning numbers, published within minutes of the official draw.

💰 Singham Evening Prize Tiers Explained

Here is a plain-English guide to the Singham Evening prize table above:

1st Prize (₹0.5 Lakh) goes to one ticket matching the entire winning number. This is the prize everyone dreams about — and the reason to keep your ticket safe for the full 30-day claim window.

Consolation Prize (₹1,000) rewards near-misses: same digits as the jackpot, different series letter. In a typical draw, dozens of consolation prizes are paid out.

2nd Prize (₹9,000) is drawn as a separate set of about ten numbers. Do not assume your ticket lost just because it missed the jackpot — always scan this tier.

3rd Prize (₹450): A 75x return on a ₹6 ticket. Dozens of winners per draw.

4th Prize (₹250) and 5th Prize (₹120): The volume tiers — hundreds of winning numbers drawn from partial digit matches. Most Singham Evening winners each draw come from these two tiers.

Because the lower tiers match fewer digits, your odds of winning something are far better than the jackpot odds suggest. Check every tier in the table above before you throw a ticket away — unclaimed small prizes are the most common lottery regret.

🎫 How to Buy Singham Evening Tickets

To play Singham Evening, visit any licensed lottery retailer in Meghalaya and ask for a ticket — it costs ₹10. Each ticket prints a distinct alphanumeric number; some players pick specific numbers while others take whatever the retailer hands them — both have identical odds. Purchase before the 7:35 PM IST cutoff, as ticket sales stop ahead of the draw and late buyers are turned away. Beware of counterfeit tickets: buy only from shops with a visible state lottery authorization, and always pay the printed face value. Store your ticket somewhere safe and dry until results are announced and you have checked every prize tier. Note: Lucky Sambad is a results publisher and does not sell lottery tickets.

🏆 Claiming Your Singham Evening Prize — Step by Step

1. Start with verification: Many 'wins' turn out to be misread digits. Check your Singham Evening ticket against each tier above, then against the official PDF. Only then proceed.
2. Retailer claims (≤ ₹10,000): Present the original ticket at any licensed Meghalaya retailer for instant payment — the simplest claim path.
3. Office claims (> ₹10,000): Submit the original ticket plus KYC documents (PAN, Aadhaar, address proof), photographs and the claim form at the Meghalaya Directorate of State Lotteries. Processing includes a genuineness check of the ticket.
4. 30 days, no extensions: The Singham Evening claim window closes 30 days after the draw. Do not wait for a 'convenient' day — claim immediately.
5. TDS of 30%: Applies to the gross prize above ₹10,000. A ₹9,000 second prize is paid in full; a ₹1 Crore jackpot arrives as roughly ₹70 lakh after tax.
6. Stay safe: Keep the ticket secure until paid, make copies, and deal only with authorized retailers or the official lottery office — never with middlemen promising 'faster' payouts.
